UP TO US COMPETITION - FALL 2020

Please submit the form below by Tuesday, September 15th to confirm your participation as a student leader for the Up to Us Competition.

The U.S. national debt stands at more than $25 trillion. Moreover, the next generation faces the highest levels of student debt of any generation, and now must brace for an uncertain job market that is being rattled by the ramifications of COVID-19.

Through the Up to Us Campus Competition, student leaders work to address the growing national debt and build a vibrant economic future by taking collective action in their community. Up to Us is a program aimed at the next-generation leaders to raise awareness and generate non-partisan ideas around issues that affect our fiscal future. Since the launch of Up to Us in 2012 in partnership with the CGI U and the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, student teams have engaged more than 200,000 of their peers through innovative and engaging campus activities.

Students receive $800 in funding to turn their ideas into action, with full support from the Up to Us team. And unique career tracks provide training in leadership, campaign management, digital advocacy and professional development. At the end of the program, students have the opportunity to apply for exclusive paid internships, Harvard Business School Online courses, and a chance at winning the $10,000 grand prize.
