REGISTRATION: Reinventing Civic Engagement: Voting, Volunteerism and Advocacy for the Next Generation of Leaders

Up to Us Logo

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way we live, study and work, income inequalities and shifting employment opportunities coupled with the introduction of new technologies had already started to lead to changes in how the next generation votes, volunteers, and advocates for social change. This discussion will bring together alumni of the Up to Us program to reflect on ways in which young people are reinventing civic engagement, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4:30pm - 5:15pm ET, join Chelsea Clinton, Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, for a moderated special discussion with Up to Us alumni:

Zaynab Abdi, Immigrant and Refugee Youth Ambassador at Green Card Voices
Anne Green, Undergraduate Coordinator at the Center for Civic Justice, Stony Brook University
George Batah, Schwarzman Scholar and Co-Founder of Syrian Youth Empowerment

Please register for this event by 2:00pm ET on October 9, 2020.
